The free species pages on Keepers Guide give you the sourced minimums and targets for a species in general. A Custom Care Plan takes it further: you tell us your animal's species, your current enclosure setup (dimensions, heating/UVB equipment, substrate), your current feeding routine, and anything specific you're dealing with (a recent rescue, an upcoming upgrade, a persistent shed or appetite issue) — and you receive a written, print-ready plan reviewing your exact setup against current sourced husbandry standards, with specific corrections where something is off.
What's in the plan
- Enclosure review: your exact dimensions checked against the sourced minimum and recommended size for your species, plus any equipment gaps.
- Temperature, humidity & UVB targets: the specific gradient your animal needs, checked against what you currently have running.
- Diet & supplement schedule: a week-to-week feeding plan appropriate to your animal's species, age, and current diet.
